Charities spend a huge amount of money and time on creating appeal packs but the most important part of the relationship building process – the acknowledgement – is often little more than an afterthought.
If you think your own set of thank you letters might be in need of a refresh, the Donor Relations Guru is on hand. Lynne has compiled over 600 acknowledgement letters from around the world to give you some inspiration.
It's quite surprising how similar many of the examples are, but a few do stand out. I thought this handwritten example from the University of Queensland was particularly good.
